LAKE GREENBELT MARCH 30 FUN FISHING TOURNAMENT
Canyon's KRIS BOSLEY caught a three-bass limit that tipped the scales at 9.00 lbs. and took home $770 at the March 30 Fun Fishing Tournament on Lake Greenbelt. His lure was a 1/4 oz. red Rat-L-Trap that he fished on the shallow shore side of a weed bed. The bass hit the trap as it entered the weedbed.

Second place and $308 went Chad Black from Logan, New Mexico with three bass that weighed 7.88 lbs. (note the blue tube bait hanging from his big bass.

The weather was cold, drizzling rain, and very windy, and the bass were either right on the bank ( in less than two feet of water-Kris' winning pattern) or they were holding on the steep banks at 15 feet where Chad found his bass.

Next Saturday, April 6 is a Fun Tournament at LAKE MEREDITH and it is anyone's guess where the active bass will be caught--BUT the bass are ready and not even our cool spring weather can stop their urge to spawn.
Register at CJ's Baitshop, and the weigh-n is at 12:00 NOON at Cedar Canyon.
