With a catch of only 8.17 lbs., Gary Goade pocketed $1,340
cash, $100 from Lubbock Boating, and free entries at all
2005 Fun Fishing Tournaments valued at $500. Using a blue
PowerWorm and a white Spinnerbait, Goade (who is fishing his
first year of bass tournaments) didn't expect to win but was
all smiles as he counted his money.
Jeff McClery of Childress won $536 and second place with
5.53 lbs. on an orange/black Bandit crankbait. Johnathan
Price of Justiceburg earned $468 for 3rd place and big bass
at 5.07 on a watermelon wacky worm.
C.D.Adams of Amarillo used a white spinnerbait to win
$200 with 4.30 lbs.
Darrel Blades of Canyon was 5th with 4.27 lbs. on a white
Bandit and shad fluke.
A special thanks to Gander Mountain, Firestone Tires,
Lubbock Boating, and Parker Boats for their support of Fun
Fishing Tournaments. Thanks also to Grub's Bait and Grill
for the great breakfast they served all the qualifiers of
the 2004 TOC.
