LAKE MEREDITH FUN TOURNAMENT JUNE 21, 2001
Canyon's STEVE MARTIN took top honors and $510 with a three-bass limit of 7.25 lbs. on a 1/4 oz. black OUGGIE "blade within a blade" Buzzbait.
 

Second place $205 went to JUSTIN WHATLEY of Fritch with three bass weighing 6.20 lbs. caught on a frog colored Skittle Dog.
Third Place to Amarillo's Tommy Pugh with a pair of bass at 4.69 lbs. and 4th place to Borger's Rodney Sweet with two bass at 4.44 lbs.
Key baits were top waters at dark, and a little luck of being at the right spot. 51 anglers entered and 20 brought in keeper bass during the three hour long tournament.
Next event is on JULY 12, Thursday evening (6-9:30 p.m.) at LAKE GREENBELT. Gather up your $25 entry fee, and I'll see you at the lake.
