Tournament Results On Saturday, March 29, the Texas
Walleye Association journeyed to Canton Lake for its
first ever tourney in Oklahoma.
Temperatures below freezing and north winds gusting
to 35 mph greeted the 16 hardy teams who decided to go
ahead and brave the harsh elements. Surprisingly, three
teams weighed in 5 fish limits of walleye over 18 in.
and 9 of the 16 teams weighed in fish.
In a tight race for first, the team of Hank and John
McWilliams barely edged out Kevin and Kalin Audrain by
just .04 of a lb. Results are: 1st Hank and John
McWilliams Fritch/Borger, TX 13.00 lbs. 2nd Kevin and
Kalin Audrain Fritch, TX 12.94 lbs. 3rd Donnie Bell and
Loyd Griswold Fritch, TX 10.41 lbs. 4th Jeff and Ron
Alexander Fritch, TX / Liberal, KS 6.50 lbs. 5th John
Bramhall and Scott Jolly Colorado 5.52 lbs. 6th Kelly
Jones and Ed Rodriguez Fritch, TX 3.92 lbs. 7th Mark and
Todd Murphy Woodward, OK 2.04 lbs. 8th Jeff Cooper and
Bill Spurrier Amarillo/Sunray,TX 1.90 lbs. 9th Robert
Reining and Brett Mills Fritch/Panhandle, TX 1.78 lbs.
The Big Fish Pot went to the Bramhall/Jolly Team with a
5.52 lb. fish.
After early spring trips to New Mexico and Oklahoma,
the next tournament on April 26th returns to Texas and
